The POI program at San Juan provides over 200 children with daily tutoring, nutrition, and medical care, all the while, the church is impacting the lives of these children and their families.
Out of the 21 new people attending the church, 11 are new believers and the 10 that have not yet accepted Christ are hungry to learn more.
Every week, two general services are held, one on Tuesday’s with an average of 50 attendees and one on Sunday’s with an average of 65 adults and 50 kids.
Hebrews 10:25 says, “Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another–and all the more as you see the Day approaching”
Pastor Yovani and the rest of the POI staff realize the importance of small group relationships and therefore hold five different discipleship groups throughout the week engaging 39 people.
The church at San Juan is committed to reaching the people where they are. Celebrations are regularly held for holidays such as father’s day, and soccer with the Guacerique church is a frequent activity.
They are also committed to teaching the people the practicality of their faith. Intense evangelistic and discipleship teaching is held on the last Sunday of each month.
