FSM Goes To Honduras!

In just a few days Fellowship Memphis Student Ministry will be sending 29 volunteers to spend a week of their summer serving alongside Point of Impact. We are elated to have this team partnering with us! Do you live in the Memphis area? This weekend (Saturday, June 28th) they will be hosting a Fish Fry Fundraiser- check out this post for more info!

As FSM prepares for their journey will you begin praying for the team even now? For many, this trip will open the eyes and hearts to the reality of what is going on all over the world; we pray for hearts to be humbled as they seek to serve the least of these.

Like many other teams, the Fellowship students will be serving in the Point of Impact neighborhoods- delivering mattresses, tubs of love, and water. They will also be hosting a VBS at the POI schools and a celebration day for the government-run orphanages. In addition, the group will be serving at the city dump, rehab shelters, and even taking all 400 POI children to the park for the day!  Their schedules will be full and exhausting but we are praying that hearts would be reliant on the Holy Spirit as each volunteer seeks to carry the name of Jesus throughout Tegucigalpa.

To stay updated on how to pray for the FSM team during their trip be sure to check us out on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, & right here!
