Pray for our Mission Teams this Spring Break

559008_10152265682977156_1123877025_nLast spring break we had two incredible teams come to serve with us; a team of middle and high school students from Grace Crossing,  and college students from the University of Memphis BCM. Their work didn’t stop when the plane landed back in Memphis.

Just this summer, I asked a little boy at Feb 21 if he liked it when teams come to visit. This is what he said:

I remember this one team that came and taught us a bible story about how Jesus calmed the storm. They did a skit and it was really funny.  When bad things happen to me, now I remember that Jesus can calm the storms in my life too.

This week, both of these teams are headed back to Tegucigalpa, Honduras to spend their spring breaks serving.

Please be in prayer for these two teams as they serve this week teaching VBS, creating profiles for all of our kids, feeding at the city dump, serving prostitutes, doing therapy activities at a special needs orphanage, and helping at a retreat for our staff.

Pray that each individual will come with hearts following the example Jesus showed us: to serve rather than to be served, to love the least of these, and speak up for those who cannot speak up for themselves.

Make sure to follow our social media for prayer updates and pictures throughout the week. Thank you for your faithful prayers, we are so thankful for each and every one of you!
