Praying for POI

“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” 1 Thes 5:16-18

As the body of Christ, we get to come alongside one another and pray.  What an honor it is to be a part of the Lord’s work.  Here are some specific ways that you can be praying for POI right now.

  1. House home children have just started their last quarter at school – please pray that they keep their grades up and the finish the school year successfully.
  2. Sandro Salazar, one of our POI office staff who works as a driver/food delivery, has a fractured rib – pray for his healing.
  3. POI churches- pray they grow in knowledge and love of the Lord and that they always find KOINONIA with each other.
  4. Pray for safety in the projects, for teachers, our pastors, students and their families.
  5. We are asking God for growth in 3 specific areas next year:
    1. Transitional Home for the girls – pray for the process of planning, meeting requirements and getting approval be done.
    2.  A new kindergarten in Villa Nueva – pray that we get the approval from the government officials and the whole process go without delays.
    3. Pray for the provision to open a new health clinic in San Juan.
